A team of experts (so called project evaluators) support the committee by providing substantive advice on the issued applications. The infographic below illustrates the activities of these project evaluators and how the application evaluation cycle takes place.
Licensing procedure
- We receive the DEC’s advice. The project is allocated to an available project evaluator who has the relevant expertise.
- The project evaluator reads all the documents.
- The project evaluator prepares an advice note for the committee. This advice note discusses important aspects
- All project documents and the project evaluators advice are sent to the committee. The committee meets once every three weeks.
- If necessary, the project evaluator explains the advice at the CCD meeting and answers questions about the project.
- Once the project has been discussed, the project evaluator completes the necessary administrative tasks.
